I definitely don't worry about coordinating colors/styles/etc. throughout an album or even facing pages. In my ring binder albums, I have paper pages next to digi pages, busy pages next to simple pages, bold color pages next to pastel pages, etc. It doesn't bother me, and I don't think it bothers anyone who has looked at my books either
Just do what you like... it's either for you or a gift for a person who loves you!
