Piracy is how I found digital scrapbook sites - someone was sharing links and I loved the designs so much I went looking for the site that the designer sold from. the great community and friendship was what converted me!
I admit, I was a part of a very small yahoo group that shared links BUT I
never downloaded, but I did send the links to the designers to kill. You can ask any of the designers here. I have since left the group as this was all unfolding here at SSD so that I was not guilty by association.
The members of that group knew it was wrong but they didn't care because they kept the group small and closed to the public. Educating them wasn't an option - I knew what I needed to do. and did it.
