Well... I have internet again! Already! My neighbor contacted me last night. Her service was out, as well, and after contacting AT&T, they told her it was out in the area. It's working now. So... the guy on the phone with me yesterday did not seem to know this and decided my modem was bad.
I will have to see what they want me to do since the new one is, I guess, on its way.
