These aren't related to your themes that you're looking for, but as someone who was new, I had a hard time figuring out what the different designer styles were, and wanted to kind of "get to know" their work a little better. I decided to buy the
Quarterly Bundle. It's $3.99 and has a mini kit from each designer, as well as a font and a template! It really gave me a good example of each designer, and gave me a large selection of colour schemes and themes to play with. So even though it's not what you're looking for theme-wise, I thought I'd suggest it. It helped make the site feel less overwhelming for me! Plus, all of the money from the quarterlies helps go towards site maintenance.
