I generally go 6-8 weeks between root touch ups on my hair. It was longer during quarantine, but I was lucky and got my roots touched up right before everything closed down. What I found is that I really didn't notice my grays much when I actually did my hair (which admittedly wasn't often during quarantine). However, I did notice the grays more as time went on because I had my hair in a ponytail A LOT! I have a lot of gray at my temples and at my bang line, so it was very noticeable with my hair pulled back. I've considered stopping coloring recently, but I really love my hair color right now, my hubby likes me blonde =) and it is much more manageable when it is colored. I don't think I'll give up coloring right now, but I might be willing to stretch out the appointments a bit more based on how long it took for me to be bugged about my roots during quarantine.
