DD has lucked out and has never had a kid who is allergic in any of her classes from K-8. They do have peanut-free tables in the cafeteria but she said no kids have ever had to use it so I guess we have always lucked out. I know my niece has a kid who is allergic to tree nuts in her class but not peanuts (because of course they are very different nuts!) So her classroom is nut free to be on the safe side.
