I think I'm the minority here- but *whispers* I never save a thing layered.
I treat my digiscrappign like my paper scrapping. Mistakes are my nature & typos etc just make my layouts more 'me' & real. And usually- no one but me ever even notices so why save them?!
I have even accidentally saved smaller sizes but they printed out well enough to get the jist so it's fine by me & adds not only less 'stuff' in my storage, but less things to do in my workflow!
