Kristin - ear plugs sound like a good idea and thankfully you are working at home. I think you should discuss it whenever appropriate with people b/c that's how others will start to understand. I had never heard of that term. I know Bailey struggles with noises now and we got her noise blocking headphones so she can put those on and lay back and relax when she feels stressed.
Amie - glad the neighbor's dog is quieter now. I remember you talking about it before and being worried about how it could be resolved.
