I wish I was better at journaling. I usually include the date and a brief sentence or two.
When I started scrapping, I didn't journal at all. In fact my oldest daughters baby book (back when I paper scrapped) had no journaling. When she was approx 5 years old, I went back and wrote her The Story of Her and Her Birth. As we were cleaning and organizing our photo albums and scrapbooks this week, she picked up her baby book.... she loved looking thru it, and them we she found the few handwritten pages at the end, she was shocked. She exclaimed, "I didn't know you wrote all of this!!" She plopped right down to read it all.
