Hi everyone! Sorry I've been kinda M.I.A. lately. I just started a new position at work so I've been working non stop. I've also been saving some money so that I can purchase a DSLR. That's where I need help...
I think I have my heart set on a Nikon however I'd also like a Canon. I like both cameras brands but I lean more towards Nikons for whatever reason. I'm not sure what model I want. I'd like something with at least 10mp...I know mp's dont really matter unless you are doing large prints and what not. I was thinking about either the D60 or the D90...but I also just saw the D5000 and so now that has been thrown into my choices. Which do you think? all opinions welcome! |

For sure. Get the biggest baddest one you can afford now because within months you're going to want another one, lol.
I have the D80 and love mine (had it a year now). But I actually wish I had let Jordan talk me into the D3. At the time, I wasn't sure how "into" photography I would get, and didn't want something SO crazy professional that I would get overwhelmed quickly. Little did I know that I would become completely obsessed and remain that way. Lesson learned. My next upgrade (in a few years) will be a pro-level (possible full frame) model. Cuz I'm nuts like that.
