Whaaaat? When Edward left her (even if he did think he was doing it for her own good), it was the most heartbreaking thing ever!! I related to the pit of despair she felt, the loneliness, the depression. That feeling of what did I do wrong, how can I change this, etc. I felt my own heartbreak in hers all over again (and that was a good 6 years ago now that my heart was broken).

I had a hard time reading that one because I thought it was the stupidest thing ever for Edward to leave (even though I kinda think she should be with Jacob). I mean he says she completes him and he has searched for her for a really long time and that he would never hurt her...and then he just LEAVES?!?!? LOL I actually stopped reading the book at that point because I was so mad that the story took that twist. I finished it though and now Im just waiting to get the third and fourth (although thanks to my daughter I already know what happens in both LOL)

Yes it was stupid, but you have to admit that the ending made it all worthwhile!

Thats what I mean!! It was so heartbreaking ,so passionate, so.... it was a great read, when I heard people saying that it was boring & hard to get thru I expected something so much less

I did think it was hard to get through, but I def didn't think it was boring. Once I got to the end I loved it, LOL!

New Moon is even better the second time around. I've heard many people say that, and I completely agree. The first time I read it I was speeding through waiting to see if Edward would come back, so I missed a lot of the story. I have a better appreciation for it now after reading it again (and again). New Moon is my favorite, after Twilight.

4....Twilight, New Moon, Breaking Dawn and Eclipse. There is a fifth uncompleted one online on Stephanie Meyers website which retells Twilight from Edward's perspective also

I loved them all and I was late to get going on them as well. But I zoomed through them like candy! Now my daughter and I are just waiting for the next movie to be released!
