Default Okay..you can have Summer now...

I'm done with it. It is SO freaking hot here. It's now that time of year in the South where going outside at any time of the day is just torture. You can literally see the heat in the air by noon time and it's just suffocating. I got out early, about 7:30 am to get groceries to try and beat the heat and I was still drenched with sweat by the time I got home. I can't WAIT for fall! The one thing I keep telling myself is thank goodness I won't be huge pregnant until it's cooler lol

I'll take it! I love the heat and we don't get enough of it here in Ohio.

I love it, so I'll take some from you too! You can have my random cloudy/rainy/thunderstorm weather, ok? Sounds like a fair trade.

I'm dreading fall...because I know after fall comes winter, and winter lasts forever...I like hot weather, not cold. I should live somewhere more south, haha.

yeah, y'all can have some of my heat too!!! It got up to 103 day on Tuesday! Bree, the bad thing for me, is we still get the rainy/thunderstorm weather here & that just makes it more humid! Yuck!
Hurry up fall!!!

I don't think y'all understand the kind of heat we have down here lol...it's a wet humid heat that literally feels suffocating. DH is in Washington and I asked him if it's hot and he said it's nothing like we have down here. I love fall/winter here b/c they're so mild...we had snow last year for the first time in like 10 years lol

Oh that stinks when you are pregnant. I don't mind the heat but when it's humid I can't take it.

The heat is so bad you can actually see it!! It feels like a suffocating blanket when you walk outside. We dont get much of a break from it here in Florida. I think I might have had to wear a jacket last winter like three or four times?? I want to move out of this area because while I love the heat I want a break sometimes

I HATE being hot and sweaty! At least we don't have the high humidity here in N. Cali. I do wish I could find a place that it is 82 degrees every single day of the year with a light breeze, no natural disasters and no stupid people.

Snap - back to reality. There is NO such place because that would be the perfect world.... LOL!!!

Please, keep your heat! I'm perfectly content with the 76° we have today. After 24 years in Jersey with that unbearable humidity (and heat on occasion too!) and four years split between Texas and Florida...I'm done with it. Shoot, we're supposed to hit 86° on Saturday...I'm dreading it.

Nikki, I know what you're talking about. My mom is in Tampa and I've visited there often enough to know what it's like in humid heat. It's like in a freaking sauna all day. I'm in not much a better place where I live though where the 90s is considered mellow but at least it's dry heat. I guess.

I'm glad the weather won't be as bad farther along in your pregnancy. Hang in there.

We lived in Florida and I loved it. I like it 90+ every day. Last night it was 68 here and I was freezing. LOL

Hot and humid here too- but today because of the incoming hurricane, it's not 100 degrees YET. And I have naturally curly hair that I straighten... yeah... I need to move! LOL!

DH teases me as I've only lived in Texas, but I'm serious! One day, we will move to the mountains somewhere even if they do get an occasional snow (somewhere preferably dry and I AM taking recommendations)!

I think what makes it so bad is that it's hot here for SO long..It's usually full on summer weather by the end of April and it stays that hot and humid til at least October and sometimes November. It's not unusual for us to have Thanksgiving or even Christmas with temps in the 80's. BLAH!

I hear ya Nikki! But I think I would much rather have school start than give away the heat. I can tolerate the heat by myself. Add 2 boys to the mix and it is not fun.

I know! and you can't hardly even go outside...so I'm stuck in with my 3 y/o all day and he's literally climbing the walls..but it's just too hot to go out except early early in the morning or right at dusk and then you have to battle the mosquitos lol

Ugggh, I hate the heat and sweating. I'm in OK, so I have both right along with you. Gross.
