Aren't new mattresses the BEST!?!? Our x-mas gift to each other last year was a new mattress and it made all the difference. LIke Kristin said, it takes some getting used to (only about a week or 10 days for me) but now its my most favorite place in the house. I *heart* my mattress.

I always say there are some things in life that are just worth splurging on and a good mattress is definately one of them. We bought a new king sized bed last year when we bought our new house and splurged on a nice mattress...it is like sleeping on a little piece of heaven. and pillows...it's never too much to spend money on a really good pillow.

Oooooh fun!! Jordan bought a sleep number bed 2 years ago, because I couldn't spend more than 2 night son his mattress if I ever hoped to walk again. Now that we have a big awesome master suite, I want a king size sleep number

Honestly ANYTHING has to be better than what we were sleeping on. It was a handmedown mattress from my inlaws. DH's side was significantly lower than my side, so I would find that I would roll into him in the middle of the night and get stuck. I used to be a stomach sleeper but found it so uncomfortable on this mattress. I just tried it out on the new one and I am just so SO happy! Oh, I cannot wait for tonight. DH is going to come home to find that I've already "gone to bed"! lol. I may never leave!

King is the way to go! I love to cuddle and all, but I LOVE to stretch out when I sleep!

Our old mattress was like that too, Emily. Ours was a 10-year-old hand-me-down from my parents. My mom is really short and tiny and my dad is tall and not-tiny. So my side of the mattress sunk too and dh was always rolling into me. But now we have our king-size luxurious pillow top and I've never slept better.

lol, glad I'm not the only one who experienced this. Yeah, my FIL is not a tiny man by any means. It was not shocking that one side of the mattress was lower than the other! My poor husband!

I totally felt the same about my sleep number bed...I am still getting use to it after a year and a half.

I hope you have sweet dreams Emily!
