How did this happen?

I bought slippers for my son, and I picked up the ones in his size, looked at them, and said, "No WAY are these going to fit him. They're HUGE!" So I bought the next size down. And, of course, they're too small. How did he get so big? For background info, Paul was admitted to the hospital when he only weighed 9 lbs at 5 months old. Now he's a bruiser!

They grow way too fast! I swear, they grow overnight - one day you look at them and the next day, you would think they had grown several inches while they slept!
