So apparently, my husband lives under a rock....
The following conversation just took place in my house following the announcement of Heath Ledger as best supporting actor...
Jeff - Is he not there? Me - (look of wtf on my face) Um, he's DEAD? Jeff - what? when did he die? Me - ARE YOU SERIOUSLY ASKING ME THIS?? Jeff - I didn't know he died, when did he die, what happened? Me - Seriously????????????

LOL, men can be so clueless sometimes. I'm not really into the celebrity gossip type stuff, but I do usually hear when someone famous dies. Like when Travolta's son died, DH saw that on a tabloid and thought it was a joke...I was like, um, no...that really did happen last week.

TANGENT: Here in IN, they do license plate renewals by last name. Jeff has lived here his entire life minus 2-3 years in FL. When my renewal came in the mail this month ('cause I have a 'B' last name), I told Jeff I always thought it was such a PITA to have a Feb renewal and I was excited that once we got married, I'd be an April renewal (he has an 'F' last name) like him. JEFF: What? How did you know that?? ME: How'd I know what? JEFF: That my plates expire in April. ME: Uh, 'cause your last name starts with 'F.' Duh. JEFF: What does that have to do with it? ME: *mouth agape* They do it alphabetically by last name! JEFF: Oh. I guess that makes sense. ME: You guess so, huh? JEFF: Shut up. *lol*
