I'm out of comission :(
I've wrenched my back. I don't what happened, I got out of bed this morning and literally hit the floor with my back hurting so bad. I've been to the doc and for me to go the to the doc it has to be pretty bad. I couldn't even walk hardly and my Mom had to come over and help b/c I couldn't even get to the car with Ella. Soooo...steroid shot and muscles relaxers and pain meds and no lifting over 10 lbs for a week which means I have to move in with my parents again.
 I'm in some pretty bad pain right now but I hope that the muscle relaxers kick in soon. Back pain sucks!

ohh man ((Nikki)) I know how you feel!! I hurt my back not too long ago and man it was PAINFUL...be lucky you have the help nearby though! It'll make the world of difference while trying to heal

Oh man that really sucks. I have been dealing with back/neck pain since a car accident in November. It makes it so sometimes I cant even sleep. Muscle relaxers do kinda help with it though so hope they can bring you some relief

Aww... no fun! I'm on my way to lay down for a nap because of back pain so I feel for ya. We can be the hunched over 90-year-olds together... we can start a little cult... wear monogrammed Snugglies 'n' whatnot. *nod*

I know just how you feel! I was out of commission for like 4 days just before Christmas a few years ago....took me at least 30 minutes just to go pee! It sucks having a bad back! I hope you get better really soon!

Aww man hon, I'm so sorry. Thank God for your parents though. I know some people don't believe in them, but you might concider seeing a Chiropractor. They REALLY work. DH threw his neck out once and was screaming it was so bad. He always thought Chiropractors were cheesy "voodoo medicine" but he was in so much pain that I talked him into going. He left there able to move again without screaming and after 2-3 visits was good as new. Just a thought... might help speed up the healing.

Oh that's awful. And you never really realize how bad back pain is until you have it and cannot function. I threw mine out somehow when I was pregnant. I literally could not walk -- had to crawl on my hands and knees to get to the bathroom. It was awful! I really hope your's gets better very soon!

I hope it heals quickly for you! 3 weeks ago I hurt my back really bad doing AB exercises and wasn't able to move for about 3 days. Muscle relaxers didn't touch it for me.
I finally went to the chrio and am now feeling better. Still hurts a little but not enough to keep me down.

Thanks y'all..it's actually MUCH better right now. My mom rubbed the muscle and really made a difference and I guess the pain killer and muscle relaxer have kicked in b/c at least I can walk now. It feels better sitting too rather than laying down so it's a good thing my parents' have a nice big comfy computer chair lol. Can't scrap though b/c I left my laptop at home.
I've never had a steroid shot before but apparently they make you super hyper and hungry lol. I was talking 90 miles a minutes and shoving in popcorn and my mom was like, "um I think you're a little hyper" lol. Anyway, hopefully it will heal quickly b/c I really want to go home

awww hugs Nikki! hope it gets better really quick. I hurt my back last summer bad enough to go to the Dr. I was never given muscle relaxers, but heat & a prescription strength NSAID worked wonderful.
