I missed the whole day :(

yesterday at about 11 am my stupid internet went out and stayed out ALL DAY. I just about wanted to cry.

The thing is..it NEVER goes out..like since we've been in this house for a year and a half it's been out once and then b/c of bad weather. I was soo upset.

So...off to shop, hopefully the stores I had my eyes on things still have their sales up today. But first SWEET SHOPPING!

That just sucks! I probably would have cried! Lots of stores have their sales on all weekend, so you should be good there! I just downloaded stuff from lots of places, and they're running pretty fast at the moment. Have fun!

Yeah...so far the shops are moving quickly this morning...but I felt kind of like the kid who got in trouble and had to stay in at recess while everyone else was outside playing kwim? lol

funny thing...when I told DH yesterday it was out and that it was NSD and I was missing it he said, "oh man, I'm sorry Babe" and it was SOO heartfelt the way he said it...my man totally understands me lol

We were gone all day yesterday. I am always gone all day on NSD. Usually I am gone the whole weekend, so I feel your pain.

Awww Nikki I'm so sorry! That's hard - I would have been really sad.

I didn't get as much time online yesterday as I liked but I did get most of my shopping done between friday night and saturday morning. I've got one last thing haunting me (ha) that I need to try and shake off today LOL.

That stinks, I know I wasn't able to do as much as I wanted since DH wasn't home and I had both kids. That's so sweet about DH though.

It's time to do a bit of making up by rounding all the shops, Nikki. LOL! Having the internet out really sucks especially on such days as NSD... I think last year, during DSD, Paypal froze my account for some weird reason and I had a minor tantrum on the phone with one of the CSR... I had 4 hours left to shop before much of the sales ended. Ugh.

But it's so sweet and understanding of your DH for his comment!

Oh no, what bad timing! I had that happen on one of the big sale days (Black Friday, maybe?) a couple of years ago. I hope you get all your goodies today and that you at least got some good scrapping time yesterday. Extra points to your DH for not saying something along the lines of, "Good--you don't need to do any more shopping."

The very same thing happened to me yesterday, Nikki! I was so distraught I missed out on all the fun I finally went to Barnes & Noble (at dh's suggestion) to buy my stuff at Jen Wilson's, because I was afraid the sale was only for yesterday. Luckily, most everything else I wanted was on sale through today. I've got one or two other places I'm still debating over, but I got everything that I really *NEED* LOL!
