Default Random peeing!??

So, we just got home from a McDonald's run and my son hops out of the minivan.....and runs to the front yard (in the rain, mind you). I am getting my daughter out of her car seat when I look over at him and he has his pants dropped to his ankles and he is peeing in the yard in the rain. WTF????

Sometimes I wonder, what are kids thinking? He never even said, mommy, I have to pee...he just dropped trow in the yard. Couldn't make it to the potty 3 feet inside the house???? I am sure our neighbors are impressed.

Ugh.

Susan

I don't think I was supposed to giggle at that. I've heard of many boys doing this when they're little. Maybe they think it's a cool new super power.

Oh the joys of boys. Mine will run past the bathroom to go outside. Because he can "make it go high outside."

Oh yay... what I have to look forward to. Dom hasn't quite yet discovered the art of public urination. Yet I says.

ummm my son never wanted to go potty outside until my husband showed him how one day when they were fishing at this little pond in the middle of BFE. I could have strangled him (my husband not my son) because then it took several weeks for him to get it is NOT OK to go outside when not in the middle of nowhere.

My oldest son who is 6 wouldn't do that if I told him to. He's not into the outdoor peeing.

But my youngest who is 3 almost 4 just pulls down the pants and goes without even thinking about it!!! And then we had to tell him that it is not appropriate to go #2 outside even if you are hiding behind a tree ESPECIALLY in the neighbor's yard & even if you are having too much fun to come home to use the potty. Fortunately the neighbors have two boys and a good sense of humor and DH was home to deal with that.

This makes me laugh. Last summer we went to the local RV sales place. When we got there Derek dropped his knickers in the parking lot, in front of everyone and proceeded to pee all over the place. I was mortified and amused at the same time.

ah yeah, the random peeing places! My son has tried this a few times and we finally broke him of it! It's funny, cause I wonder where the heck they learn it from! LOL! Well get this...

We are at a public playground...me, aaron, aubrey and my aunt michelle and aubrey runs to the corner of the fenced in playground and starts to squat and pull down her pants (we had only been at the playground for a few minutes and I had asked her before we went to the playground if she had to go potty first and of course she said NOOOO) but she tried to go to the bathroom right then and there and I said NO WAY and took her to the van to go potty. I mean, it's nuts to see my son do that but MY DAUGHTER??!! Crazy girl.

Ha ha.... well this looks to be somewhat "normal" behavior.....I guess I am not so mortified. He has never done this before and that is why I was taken off guard. LOL!

I'm so glad my boy is ultra-conservative! He never did stuff like this, but I think he's the exception, definitely not the rule!

We're rural & it's pretty much 'normal' behavior from what I gather from the boys' classmates mothers. Less likely if you live in a development but most of us don't. Anytime you are at a playground you will hear at least one mother shouting across the equipment "NO NO we don't pee in public!!!"

lol that's funny! but kind of normal around here lol.. I mean we live out in the country ..way out in the country and our house sits way way off the road, so if we're outside and he's got to go..well, he just goes...the funny thing is though he thinks he has to go next to a tree..so he has to find a tree first. lol

So far though he hasn't tried it out in public, but honestly it wouldn't surprise me lol
