Absolutely nothing. I'm on strike. Andrew was supposed to get me a real grill before tomorrow--and I'm left with my pseudo-George Foreman deal for yet another year. They can feed themselves.

That said, can I join you all, Traci? That sounds good. I'll bring along some booze free beverages for myself.

We're going to a friend's house, so I don't have to cook, but I am bringing desserts. The kids and I are making the sugared marshmallow things, and then I am making rice krispie treats and brownies, cutting them into stars, swirling white icing over them and then red & blue sprinkles.

Oh that sounds delicious!
I think we're just gonna do the standard grill stuff. Either hamburgers and hot dogs or steak and baked potatoes. Then head out to see some fireworks.

I'll be working all day tomorrow, so my guys can just grill themselves some burgers. By the time I get home, I'll have time to change my clothes and then head out to see the fireworks. We'll have to park a mile or so away and walk...but they are usually pretty fabulous, so that's ok!!

How many people are you having over Traci? That's quite a feast you've got planned!

We're having pork chops (ala Darik...Lord knows what he'll marinade them in or anything)
potatoes/onions on the grill
red/white/blueberry skewers
Doritos for the kidlets
lots and lots of beer

We're setting up the bean bag boxes for us and the kids have their own little set too lol

We're having a party with fireworks & a bonfire. About 20 people or so are coming. We're having hot dogs, hamburgers, artichoke dip, corn, grilled beets & sweet potatoes, avocado & tomato salad and red, white & blue cookies. Plus a bunch of chips, cheese, fruits & veggies.

DH will be gone all day tomorrow for a softball tournament so I have no clue what the kids & I will be doing. I don't want to cook a big meal just for us & I haven't heard from our parents yet what they'll be doing. They usually have a cookout but are notorius about waiting til the last minute to organize anything so we'll see! Everyone's food sounds like it's going to be yummy though!

We're going to three cookouts this weekend (none that we're hosting - thank goodness!) so I am making quite a few things in the morning...

Baked beans in the crock pot
2 Triple Berry Trifles
Pasta Salad
Colorburst Cupcakes in red, white and blue

I "discovered" a recipe calendar for the wall for 2009 when we cleaned out some stuff out of the entry way (junk mail corner)...and there is a triple layered brownie dessert I want to make. ...but not because it is the 4th...just because it looks good. lol

No plans whatsoever...originally dh was going to get a procedure done yesterday so we didn't make any plans for the weekend...but it got postponed. ...so got dh into a new construction project in the entry way...so NOT making plans if I can avoid it! ...want to keep the guys working on it!

my 15yo ds wants to make that hamburger and fries dessert that was posted..but I know I would do 90% of it...he wouldn't be able to keep his focus on it...

So what I plan on making tomorrow...hopefully...is lots of layouts! mmmm Maybe I should MAKE recipe layouts? lol no dishes to wash

I think we are going to grill hamburgers. I'll probably just add a basic salad to that. I've also planned to do an angelfood cake with blueberry, strawberries, and cool whip.

We'll head over to the fairgrounds to watch the fireworks.
