I have a bunch of blueberries in my fridge and I don't know what to do with them...what should I make? Show me some of your favorite blueberry recipes please!

I'll be watching this thread closely as I buy them to put in my yogurt, but usually a whole container is more than I care to eat just that way, kwim?

I can say the recipes from this episode of Alton Brown are excellent

Blueberry Buckle is like coffee cake.

The soda is a wonderful treat, and the leftover syrup can be warmed for pancakes.

The blueberry pie was much loved by my dad. (I'm not such a fan of it, but I'm not a big pie person, anyway). (I forgot to take pics before dropping them off).

Also, blueberry muffins are freezer friendly and great for breakfast or snacks!

You can always freeze them to save them for times when blueberries aren't in season and you can whip out fresh (ish) blueberries!

I don't do much baking and there are some ingredients I don't have, like shortening and ginger...I might just do something simple like blueberry muffins, or freeze them and use them for smoothies. I love cobbler though!

I was going to say "freeze them" too. You can put wax paper down on a cookie sheet(jelly roll pan--the one with the sides), spread them out one layer deep and then place in the freezer. Once frozen through, you can put them in a freezer bag and you can then pour out what you need for recipes. I bake with them straight from frozen--and make smoothies from frozen as well.

there are oodles of yummies you could make w/ blueberries, but some easies:

blueberry pancakes (YUM)

smoothies

granola/blueberry yogurt/blueberries parfait (YUM for breakfast!)

they area also perfect thrown on a salad!

mix in w/ cereal

cool w/ a little sugar in a pan til gets oozy and hot and throw on vanilla ice cream!
