I went to pick up pictures that I had printed at Costco, and the lady there said that my pictures would 'pop' if the color was calibrated to their printer... do any of ya'll know what she is talking about? I am using PSE 8.
Thanks, Alison |

Yes. Every printer is calibrated differently and there are things called color profiles. If you can get the color profile for the printer where you print, your colors will come out truer. I'm not sure how much PSE can do with color, but I know with PSCS you can enter the color profile.

I didn't know that! Huh.
I just had my Christmas cards printed at Costco, and without doing anything special they came out great. The colors were just what I expected! |

Hi
I just looked online at Costco photo and on the very bottom near the 'terms and conditions', there is a 'printer profiles' tab. This is where mine took me: http://www.drycreekphoto.com/icc/usi...r_profiles.htm Thanks for posting this thread because I always print at Costco. I usually get what I expect, but sometimes, I don't--even with the enhance mode turned off. This is definitely something to look into!
