I saw this on a blog this morning ... I will probably make a page if I can find some photos of the 2000-2004 time frame. But ... here was my decade highlights:

2000 - was engaged, living in Placentia, CA, turned 21, started working at Mulberry, moved to Corona, CA, got married

2001 - got pregnant, lost my Grandma Ellie, moved to 2nd apartment in Corona,

2002 - gave birth to Anthony, lost my Grandma K, moved to Yuma, AZ, started working at Culligan, lost Poppy

2003 - got pregnant, broke my foot, hospital stays, separation

2004 - gave birth to Ellie, filed for divorce, moved into my condo, traveled to Hawaii (December)

2005 - Anthony in the hospital/medical scare, divorced, traveled to Napa (September), traveled to Wisconsin (November)

2006 - Traveled to San Francisco (Feb) & Napa (July), lost almost 50lbs, started working at the preschool

2007 - Met Bill, quit the preschool, started full time at Culligan, Traveled to Orcas Island, WA, Anthony started Kindergarten, 1st Nascar trip

2008 - Anthony plays T-Ball, 2nd Nascar trip (Bill comes as well), Ellie's 1st Dance recital (she was a funky chicken), Anthony joins swim team

2009 - Turned 30, got engaged, Ellie started Kindergarten, Ellie's 2nd Dance Recital (she was a pumpkin) got married

00- don't remember! lol!

01- got my first job (I was 16) at Brooks Pharmacy

02- got my driver's license & first car, spent a week in Russia (when my parents adopted my siblings, Renee & Randy)

03- my parents got divorced, I graduated from high school & bought my VW bus (lol!)

04- my mom remarried, I met Nick & got pregnant with Gunner

05- Nick & I moved in together & were engaged, Gunner was born (9 weeks early!)

06- left my job at Brooks, started digital scrapping & design, my nephew & youngest brother were born

07- started working at a residental care home (nursing)

08- we bought our first home, I quit my "day job" to stay home with Gunner & persue my designing more, got pregnant with Lydia

09- Lydia was born, Gunner's first year of school

2000--Pewter (my cat) put to sleep; adopted Toby & Max (cats); Aunt Aline passed away; Mom finished year of chemo; visited Victoria BC, Mt. Rainier, and Seaside, OR on vacation
2001--one of the worst years ever at work; spent a week driving around Washington state on vacation; become a Lord of the Rings fanatic
2002--mom met & married Jerry; spent a week in Washington & BC with mom, Carolyn, and Marylon; found 4 wk old Bear (my dog) on the side of the street
2003--mom kicked Jerry out ; spent 7 hours in line to see The Return of the King; worked on genealogy; spent vacation on the MS Gulf Coast
2004--met and married Robert; quit my job; moved to Oklahoma
2005--got a new job working in the HS library; visited family in Houston; visited Space Center Houston; got pregnant and gave birth to Rachel; tried paper scrapping
2006--visited Galveston twice; discovered scrapbooking software
2007--quit my job to be a SAHM; discovered the online digi world; went to San Antonio on vacation; visited the Texas Renaissance Festival; bought a truck; went to Branson; the ice storm
2008--bought our house; went to Rodeo Houston; visted the Oklahoma Renaissance Festival; met Sharon Kay in person; found a church home
2009--joined a ladies class at church; formally joined the church; Sharon and her boys spent a week with us over the summer; ugly family drama (which continues); Rachel started dance class

2000: Got married
2001: Got pregnant with DD#1
2002: Gave birth to DD#1 and moved into our first house
2003: Hurricane Juan, 1st hurricane in over 100 years, came through
2004: DD#1 broke her arm, lost 20lbs before trying to conceive again
2005: Got pregnant with and gave birth to DD#2, started digi-scrapping
2006: Started designing, turned 30, our 12 year old cat Orbie passed away, DD#1 lost her 2 front teeth in an accident on the stairs (Feb.) & also broke her arm again (May)
2007: DD#1 started school & I started my own website
2008: My Grandfather died, got lice for the first time (ick)
2009: Moved back to my hometown after 13 years in the city, did Project 365 and lasted the whole year!

Mine is pretty much the same every year was spent taking care of my kids and house. Thats pretty much my life since 1991. We traveled only in state. Place like Daytona, St. Augustine, Tampa, Clearwater etc.

2000 - Junior in high school, started applying to colleges!
2001 - Started my senior year (and had some MAJOR Senioritis)
2002 - Graduated High School, Moved into my own apartment and started working at a "real" job. Got Mono.
2003 - Got pregnant on my 19th birthday.
2004 - Karsten was born in May, Married in October.
2005 - Got pregnant with Josiah when Karsten was 10 months old, moved to Idaho.
2006 - Josiah born in January, moved back to California.
2007 - Finally stable, went back to college
2008 - Started taking designing more seriously, still going to school
2009 - Mooore school, moved back to my home town.

2000 - graduated HS, quit my music job, started working with special needs kids
2001 - dropped out of college, Cal i forn I A
2002 - started working @ a new program that didn't so much conflict with my ideals
2003 - turned 21 made and gave birth to a bebe lost my job due to bebe making
2004 - got married
2005 - started designing
2006 - lost my beautiful aunt joan to cancer.. :[ came to SSD
2007 - this was mostly a bad year except for being with the clingermans, i've mostly blocked out this year
2008 - T moved out- became a single mum, lost my beautiful grandmother, reconnected with someone amazing.
2009 - kicked butt. quit smoking. proved that i am still awesome.

2000 - Rang in the New Year, newly pregnant and had my son Benjamin in early September. Tony and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary in July.

2001 - We had our first RCMP transfer to Holyrood, moved for the first time as a family. That Spring we went to Scotland for a 3 1/2 week trip to visit my Aunt and Uncle as well, I stood as the Matron of Honour for my dear cousin Sarah during her wedding. I saw my DH wear a kilt.

2002 - Coached the Figure Skating Winter Games team for our region and won 4 medals. Became pregnant with Amelia in late Spring, started working at McDonald's that summer.

2003 - Had Amelia in January, went back to work at McDonald's and was Manager by the end of the Summer. We moved to a larger home in the Spring. Benjamin broke his leg just prior to the move in a freak accident. I had kidney stones and surgery in the Fall.

2004 - Became pregnant with Rachael, Tony was transferred for the second time, so we moved for the third time. I flew to Ontario with Benjamin and Amelia at 6 months pregnant to spend time with my mom. Rachael was born in November, 10 days late. I also began making signatures and learning Photoshop late in the year, and met many of my new, best friends online. Missed most of the skating season (2004-05), due to Rachael's birth and subesquent complications.

2005 - Tony and I took the kids to Ontario, then on to Chicago for an "October Harvest Cuties" board gathering from our iVillage group in July. My oldest started Kindergarten. I weaned my last baby. We all began sleeping through the night!

2006 - I turned 30 and Tony turned 40. We moved houses due to mold issues in our home (our fourth move). I drove the kids to Ontario (3 days of driving each way) by myself, kids were 5, 3, and not even 2. Began doing some web design, and opened my own birth announcement business. Tony got me a custom built computer for Christmas with all the bells and whistles.

2007 - Began working for Jac at Sweet Baby Designs in January. I also began scrapping in June that year, and what began as a small diversion ended up becoming my major hobby. I stopped making signatures sometime that year as well. Again, drove the kids by myself to Ontario for the third year in a row (second alone). Our cat turned 10 years old.

2008 - In January, flipped my van and wrote it off, causing a rotator cuff injury, and I missed a month of skating. Decided in the Spring to no longer return to the club where I coached, but did end up returning that fall after negotiations. Amelia, our middle child, began kindergarten. I had surgery in the Fall. Bought my laptop after my injury, as sitting at the computer aggravated it.

2009 - My baby Rae started kindergarten. Tony and I celebrated 10 years of marriage in July. I said goodbye in March 2009 to the skating club I worked for, for 10 non-consecutive years and started work at a new club in October. Tony was transferred and we moved for the fifth time.

Hmmm what an interesting idea. I like the idea of making this into layouts... and since I have a bunch of free books from artscow... I think I'm on to something here! I think a 2 page layout for each year would be a great idea for me.

And this is timely because my word for the year is Story - past and present memories of my family and doing what i love

2000 - Rang in the new year waiting for Y2K. turned 20. Moved to my 1st apartment living on my own. started working in HR. officially in relationship w/ (now) DH. My car was stolen. Got a new car. Moved to my 2nd apartment before the year was over.

2001 - turned 21. broke up with DH (then BF) went through the worst 3 months I've ever had and grew up quick LOL. Moved back in to my parents home. That lasted about 3 months. Moved out again and officially started living with my (now) DH after we got back together. My car got stolen. AGAIN! Got a 2nd job because living on our own was hard!

2002 - turned 22. Got pregnant. Quit my 2nd job. Went to Mexico in October for my sister's Quinceanera.

2003 - turned 23. Gave birth to Bryan via emergency C-section. I graduated from community college and got my associates degree. We bought our first home

2004 - turned 24. I stopped working full time at my HR job and found a new job (still in HR). Stayed part time w/ the first job and started working in the restaurant there serving. We bought a new car. Baptized our son, Got Pregnant again. Went to Washington DC with DH and my sister. a 2nd time with my BFF

2005 - turned 25. DH and I drove to Reno and got married. Gave birth to my 2nd son Jordan. Went to Mexico in June with a 2 yo and a 2 mo old son. Baptized Jordan. Went back to school

2006 - turned 26 - Started digital scrapbooking. Went to Mexico in December for christmas and new years. Quit school again.

2007 - Turned 27. Bryan started preschool. I quit my 2nd job after almost 10 years of being there (it was my first job!) stopped working weekends! DH turned 30.

2008 - Turned 28. Bryan started Kingergarten. I got pregnant again. Had Diego in November. Bryan started playing soccer.

2009 - Turned 29. Bryan started first grade. Jordan started preschool. Spent quite some time on maternity leave and working part time hours. Enjoyed being a part time SAHM Went back to work full time -- but still with a flex schedule. DH and I started working opposite shifts again. Took a 3 month class in hopes of getting back into school. Baptized Diego.

Oh man.... Let's see if I can remember anything...

2000 - "Graduated" from middle school and moved onto high school.

2001 - Told my friends for the very first time about my evil stepmom, family stuff got ugly, dad lost his job, dad filed to divorce my stepmom, not a happy year.

2002 - Had to move out of our nice house into a tiny rental house because stepmom was a witch and took everything. Got my first job and gave my dad half of all my paychecks because he was still out of work. Had my heart broken for the first time. lol Had tons of fun in show choir!

2003 - Started my senior year in HS and started working at Subway. Had LOADS of fun with my friends! Asked out a guy I liked and he soon became my very first boyfriend. Had my first kiss.

2004 - My dad and family moved to Minnesota for his new job. I stayed in AZ because I had scholarships to UofA and wanted to finish out my senior year and keep AZ residency for school. Moved in with my best friend's family. Got dumped right before the senior prom (but he still went with me). Promoted to manager at Subway (ooooOOOooooh, I was soooo coool....lol). Started freshman year at UofA and lived in the dorms and ate fast food nearly 2x a day. Had TONS of fun!!!

2005 - My dad remarried. "Met" DH again (I'd met him before). Started dating right away, got engaged, got MARRIED!

2006 - Worked as a tutor for college student with learning disabilities, worked hard in school, enjoyed being a newlywed. Hated our apartment (400 sq. ft.) and counted down the days until the lease ran out so we could move.

2007 - Got pregnant, stopped working, took a semester off of school so I could have DD. I was bored and took up DIGI SCRAPPING and pretty much did that all day while DH was at work. lol Had Allie in Nov, moved in Dec.

2008 - Went back to school full-time when DD was only 6 weeks old, got overly obsessed with digi scrapping, got on like 5 million CTs. Moved so we could both work from home as apartment managers. Started designing in Oct.

2009 - School, work, designing, toddler craziness. DH and I hated our job as apt. managers so we decided to move out of town and now he's going to school while I take a break from school.

2000-Freshman year in high school, had a rough year personally, started dating my ex-fiance
2001-Sophomore year, got diagnosed with endometriosis
2002-Junior year, found my love for photography
2003-Senior year began, got engaged, started applying to colleges, gained a stalker...weird I know
2004-Graduated HS, started college, moved out twice, got my dog
2005-Broke up with my ex, started dating my current bf, moved again
2006-Turned 21, Got shingles
2007-BAD YEAR!!! Lost my uncle to cancer, a good friend passed away, got pregnant
2008-Miscarried, lost my grandma to cancer, my great grandma passed away at 100 yrs old, also lost a few more friends
2009-My niece was born, made some financial changes for the better, lost another family member (that happened this past Sunday)

The last decade really wasn't a good one for me.

2000 - my mother just finished chemo for breast cancer, was engaged with a 1 year old (Jenna) and a 5 year old (Cody), attending college, turned 24.
2001 - finished college, got married, lost my grandfather, turned 25.
2002 - went back to college & finished a different program, got pregnant with #3 and gave birth to Xander, moved to Saskatchewan, turned 26.
2003 - separated from my husband, moved back to British Columbia, got back together with my husband, turned 27.
2004 - got pregnant with #4, my little sister graduated high school, turned 28.
2005 - gave birth to Quinten, moved to where we live now, turned 29.
2006 - started digital scrapbooking, turned 30.
2007 - met my best friend and instantly bonded, turned 31.
2008 - my baby sister graduated high school, took our first real vacation with no kids, lost my grandmother, turned 32.
2009 - had my 14 year old move to his father's, my older brother got married, turned 33.

2000-getting the hang of paralysis (happened 9-99), Went to Calgary to meet a quad, "Met" Mike on NYE

2001-Went to Toronto to meet Mike, who would later become a forever friend to my husband and I .... Met Charlie, went to races in forth worth, Charlie bought me an Xterra, started school again at Coastal Bend in Beeville, GOT ENGAGED, ended up in out of hospital due to a pressure sore, had to QUIT school

2002- Spent Months in the hospital from pressure sore surgery recovery, moved from the house Charlie JUST bought to an apartment (house was not accessible) Bought season tickets to races , Adopted Mia (still have her!!) Charlie got laid off and we got married in December, Charlie traded his Miata for a Infiniti G20, I worked at Foley's for a few months

2003-Life as a newly wed .... Moved to Cap Rock, Charlie got a new job, continued going to races in Fort Worth

2004-Charlie was laid off again and started another new job, more nascar/IRL/ Truck races ... Got pregnant and had William!

I know 03/04 were more interesting ... but.......

2005- Went to North Dakota, Daddy died, started our trail of lights tradition (stopped in 2009, they scaled back this year and plan to STOP entirely), met lots of new friends in a playgroup (sadly lost touch with almost all of them now), really started to get to know the Cap Rock neighbors ... old ones and new ones, traded the Xterra and bought a sentra

2006-Stopped race tickets (too much with Will needing his own), Went to the BEACH with my twin nieces, Will got his first haircut., took Will to a car race in Houston and his first movie, CARS, went on a subway ride in dallas, North Dakota trip, again! I THINK this is the year Charlie started working at his CURRENT job)

2007-North Dakota for Charlie Grandmother's death (left Will with MY mom) Started trying to get pregnant, started our 4th of July tradition at "Da Ranch", Got pregnant in September, got to be an extra in Friday Night lights on 2 different occasions, started and failed a 365 self portrait project, became a GREAT aunt - TWICE

2008-Charlie's Grandfather died, Lucas was born, bought our forever house, Will started Preschool

2009-Will started TaeKwonDo and then Charlie started it too. Charlie finally bought his DREAM car (and M3), Mother-in-law passed away unexpectedly, bought a boat, making plans for hardwood floors in the entire house

00- 8th grade... can't remember much else! lol

01- started freshman year of high school

02- started sophmore year

03- made cheerleading, future DH came home from basic training in march. became best friends and started dating, started junior year all in fall.

04- future DH and I broke up. got my first job, a lifeguard at wild waves. started senior year.

05- got back together with future DH in feb. graduated high school and turned 18 in june. started college. married in oct. DH goes to training for his deployment off and on for the rest of the year

06- DH deploys felt like my life ended. lol. school. work. lost 20 lbs.

07- DH came home in april! got pregnant in april lol. got our doggie, macho in june. school. work.

08- gave birth to Walker in jan, bought our first house in april. turned 21 in june. started digi scrapping in dec.

09- Walker turns 1. started mommy and me classes at the little gym. learned to (try to) cook. fell in love with twilight lol.

2000- First year out of highschool, Quit uni after a month, Started working in the donut shop, because they let me work part time and it paid just enough for me to party all weekend and most nights during the week. Was hungover much of that year. Briefly dated a guy i went to highschool with.

2001-More partying. Started working in the office of a first aid company. Starting on reception, moving into the accounts section after a month or two. Scaled back partying due to 9am starts lol. Briefly dated a jerk who tried to hook up with my best friend while we were still dating. Met future DH a month after breaking up with jerk. Turned 20.

2002 - 21st birthday party. Still working for the first aid company. Doing couple stuff with future DH. Partying days are over.

2003 - Mum bought a house with my future step father and we all moved across town. I scored the granny flat! But as much as i liked my future step father, i didnt like living with him. Halfway through the year i changed companies to a home improvement company -still doing accounts. Only to realise i hated the company after 3 months. Started working as a promotional rep for a childrens photography studio.

2004 - Future DH and i moved into our first rental home. Started working as a photographer for the same travelling childrens photography studio. Think this was the year we lost my grandmother. Got our lil boxer puppy Khodi in July.

2005- Future DH and i, plus my brother decided to buy my mothers rental property from her and all 3 of us live together. We rented it for a few months first while we saved money, which was lucky, cos we hated living together and decided not to buy the house after all. Brother moved back in with our mum. Future DH and i continued to rent the house from mum until we bought our own house in November.

2006- Bridesmaid at my best friends wedding. Worked alot, went away for work alot. Finally quit my photography job and took a studio managers position at a more local permanent studio.

2007 -Realised i wasnt so into photography anymore and needed a higher paying job, so took a payroll job in the city. My best friends lil boy was born. Unexpectedly, I fell pregnant, but miscarried. Was diagnosed with a molar pregnancy and went through months of tests afterwards to ensure the cells didnt spread and turn cancerous. Was told not to fall pregnant for a year (later revised to 6 months) Was an awful end to the year.

2008 - 3 bon Jovi concerts and flew to melbourne for the first time. Future DH and i got engaged in January. Was given the all clear from my molar pregnancy. Engagement pary in March. Married in September. Flew to Vanuatu for our honeymoon(first time overseas).Started a new job, still in payroll. Husband quit his long term job to work out what he really wanted to do with his life. Fell pregnant.

2009 -DH starts an apprenticeship. Gave birth to Thomas. Celebrated our first wedding anniversary. Turned 28.

Sorry that was so long! but i think ill use all that for a layout! (might have to be a double pager lol). Actually remembered more than i thought i would, tho im sure ive got a few things in the wrong years.
