Default Silly Bandz

Just wondering if this is a girl thing or if boys are in to the Silly Bandz too? I've noticed some more masculine designs.

are those the bracelets in different shapes? If so my daughter has had a cow, cowboy hat, bunny rabbit, steer horns (not sure what else to call that one LOL) and I think a pig? Her FFA/Ag teacher was giving them out in class.

My 17 yr old and her bf have matching guitar ones lol.

They were banned in the school systems in FL though....ridiculous. I have not seen much enforcing of it though.

DD is 5 and she got some princess ones for her birthday. I think they're a waste of money personally.

why were they banned here? Like I said my daughter got hers from her Ag teacher and usually they send a note home if they ban something from the schools. I had not heard anything about it. (my daughter is graduating in a week and out of school now...so it doesn't really effect her anymore)

They were banned here about 2 weeks ago from schools because apparently some kid choked on one.

I think the definition of being old is having to google the latest fad and then not getting it.

k - they look interesting! lol Kind of remind me of the jelly bracelets we wore back in the late 80s, early 90s.

My girls (12 & 8) were into them about a month ago, but the novelty has worn off. Our Hallmark stores were carrying them Meg so if you have near you, you could check them out!!!!
