Default Simply Sweet magazine?

Is this an actual printed magazine or do you download it? And how much content (i.e., pages) are there for $7? TIA!

ETA: Okay, I see now that you download it, but would anyone be able to give me an idea of how much content there is? Thanks

I don't remember the full size (though you should be able to see the MB size in the details) but there is also a free full kit with each publication :] They're pretty hefty

The magazines run about 100 pages, and they are AMAZING. You will NEED all 4 after looking at the first one. The inspiration inside is well worth $7 (as well as the kits!).

It's a very intensive process to make the magazine so it's on hold for a while. I'm personally hoping it will make a return I loved making layouts for it and seeing all that inspiration from others!

I hope so too! I felt bad for the girl who won the Simply Sweet For Life contest... and then they were stopped... I totally understand why though. I worked for a printing company and made ads & phone books, and OMGoodness, what a lot of work to get everything to look nice! And the SS was seriously gorgeous - it must've taken a ton of time!

I downloaded the first one earlier tonight (the one with the 4 seasons kit) and WOW, what a FANTASTIC magazine -- I love it!!!!!!!!!

Question: for those of you using the LOs for inspiration, do you just right click on the LOs you like and save them somewhere? Can you do that (right click and save) those images (will it let you)?

Oh GREAT thread! I saw the magazine in the shop and then forgot about it. Now I'm hooked again. Heh, though I have a funny problem. I guess the cover LOs are done with the exclusive kits. From what I see there, I badly want #3 and #4. However, judging by the general topic, I want #1 and #2.

Hmm, seems like I have to get them all in the end.

The cover layouts aren't done with the exclusive kit, so maybe if you tell me the titles of the mags in which you're interested in the kit on the front (All About We, etc) I can hook you up!

A Year in a Life features this kit by Kristin: Hey Mr Weatherman

Away We Go features this kit by Dani: Holiday in the Sun

I'm not sure about the other two issues.

ETA:
All About Me was Bumble Bee Mine by Manda & Lauren

Oh Baby was a combo of kits including Mud Pie by Melissa & Revolution by Julie

HTH!

Oh Baby issue uses several kits on the cover - Mud Pie by Melissa Bennett, Yesteryear Boy by Julie Billingsley, Revolution by Julie Billingsley, Frame Masks 7 by Penny Springmann, Love Always by Lauren Reid, Border Basics: Squares by Libby Weifenbach.

All About We issue uses - Bumble Bee Mine by Lauren Grier and Manda Bean

The free kit included with the magazine is related to the subject matter of the magazine. They are all exclusive and only available with the magazine!

edited to add- LOL... looks like Lynnette was faster finding those last 2 credits!

Just wanted to let you guys know that for the first time ever, I've posted the previews of the exclusive kit and quickpages in the detailed images for each product. There are some AMAZING goodies included in the mag, so if you haven't picked them up yet, go check em out!

Enjoy!

Wow, thanks Robin. And thanks Julie and Lynnette. Funny enough that didn't help decide at all. LOL But now I want all mags AND the kits for the covers. Hm. Hmmmm.

Edit: Ok, decided to start with the "A year in the life" issue.

I think the All About We was my fave issue...I liked the Baby one too (but baby when working on it was my least fave to get excited about until it started coming together..it turned out so wonderful!)
