Default San Antonio Hotels

Anyone stay at any hotels in San Antonio near or on the Riverwalk? I'll be in San Antonio in a few weeks and I'm trying to find a hotel...Any suggestions?

You can't go wrong on the riverwalk... all are close... some cool historic ones lke the Crockett and Hilton Palacio Del Rio are cool.

We stayed at the Westin. It is away from the busy side of the riverwalk and really nice. If you go here http://www.visitsanantonio.com/visitors/save/index.aspx you can get some good discount codes.

Don't have any suggestions for you since we didn't stay on the Riverwalk but I have to say we LOVED San Antonio for the few days we were there. We stayed at the Hilton near Sea World and it was awesome! They had fires every night in the courtyard that the kids could roast marshmallows and when the sun set they played movies on the wall of the courtyard. We took a boat tour of the Riverwalk and I agree where you stay will mean how busy you want it to be outside your door. They all looked cool from the outside! Good luck and have fun!

We stayed here for our first anniversary.
http://riverwalkvista.com/

It's a quaint place and we liked it.

We're planning a family trip in Sept/Oct and are probably going to stay at the Hyatt that has the lazy river.

We ate at Biga on the Banks and it is an amazing restaurant (or at least it was 5 years ago).

Have a great trip!

I've stayed at the marriot on the riverwalk.

There is also a Courtyard and a Holiday Inn Express close to that I have stayed in and liked.
