**sigh** our house is for sale
We've been wanting to live on a lake near our house ever since we've moved here. Nothing has been available in our price range, so we've just been waiting. Finally, the market on the lake has slowed down and prices have just been dropping. We finally found one that we just love and we put an offer in on it this past weekend. They accepted the offer but it's contingent on us selling our house.

Needs a little bit of work in certain parts of the house, but the lot it's on is amazing. An older couple lives there right now so almost everything is blah colored. After all the work we have done around our current house getting it ready for sale, it's nice to finally just relax a bit (and be able to scrap).

Hope you sell quickly and easily. We have a house in town and one at a lake (well, it's more like a nice cabin, sorta) and we love both. We are considering selling the one in town someday once the kids are grown and just moving up to the lake house. Our house in town is on the water and the property taxes are just astronomical. We would actually like to retire someday, so it seems the best option to move from here eventually.

I hope you sell quickly! We were in the same boat last year when we were selling our house and found the perfect house to bid on. We got the house, but we had to sell our house first and oh my gosh it was so stressful waiting. Are the owners allowed to still show the house and possibly take another offer if you don't sell your house before that?

Been there!!!! I buried a St.Joseph statue in the yard even!!! But it all worked out for me - we are closing near the end of the month- so don't lose hope!
Sending good house-selling mojo your way-- being on a lake would be amazing! ***ETA- the pictures just loaded and WOW!!!! If I had a million dollars.....
