Default just a vent

i HATE living in no where land today. I need a scoring tool/blade.
called the scrapbook store in great bend, they do not even KNOW what a scoring tool/blade is. really?????
then i called the smaller one in larned and they can order me one. it will be in in two weeks. they carry every other tool but the scoring tool! UGH!!!! i finally have the urge to do something creative and don't have what i need. REALLY frustrating since i had almost every tool there was before the fire and lost it all and have slowly and painfully been buying stuff back but i have LONG ways to go. ugh!!!! living here sucks today. that is all.

While I know it stinks to be out in the middle of nowhere, why not use the back of a butter knife for a scoring tool?

I used to do what Darcy said. Or use an embossing stylus. Or a ball point pen that ran out of ink. Anything with a good edge can be used along with a ruler as a make-shift scoring tool.

But I do totally feel your pain. I live in a small town (less than 2000 people), and we are an hour from the closest city where I can get stuff. I hate when I *need* something and can't get it!

i am going to use a bone folder, which i know will work, just more time consuming. i think i am more frustrated because everytime i want to do an altered project i find i dont have what i need and it just bothers me. i think leftover frustration from the fire if that makes sense.

I feel your pain. Sometimes I love living in this small town, but it drives me CRAZY when I need something and I have to order it online or wait until I can make a (2.5 hour one-way trip) to the city.

Or then you buy something and it is missing parts and you cannot justify driving the 4 hours to go get a new one/parts so you have to wait 2 more weeks. (DS's bicycle for his bday this weekend!!!)

Ugh, I have family that lives in the middle of no where. When I go to visit, I just think, I could not live without a Wal-Mart or a fast food restaurant. lol Too spoiled.

Its even worse in a foreign country, man how I miss Target! I find new uses for things around my house though. Plates for circles, butter knives for scoring, and glue dots will hold lots of things together.
