Default Supermoon in Ottawa tonight!
Hi everyone. Well we had the perfect cloudless night for taking shots of the supermoon. Too bad I don't know my camera better, so that I could get better shots of it.

It's amazing here tonight too!!
Here's my shot! I was so excited when I got so much detail!
I wish it was crisper, but I was using my only zoom lens, which is my kit lens. Someday I will have an awesome zoom lens & be able to get right up on it!

Must be a beautiful night. I always struggle taking pictures of the moon, they never show the detail I want so i understand your desire to know your camera better. Me too!

We saw it here also in Holland, perfect beautiful orange moon....Too bad I was in the car when we saw it.

I saw the moon but didn't take a picture... there was just enough cloud cover that the moon was fuzzy (visible, but fuzzy). It didn't look any bigger to me though, lol.
