Default UGGGHHHHHH Teenagers~

I went to go do my daughter's hair for her Senior prom tonight and I speciafically asked her what she wanted "I don't care" was her response....not even 2 mins into brushing her hair and going to put it up she says "I don't want it all up" and my response "you just told me you don't care!!!!!!!!!!'....."well I don't want it all up" she says again ......so I threw everythign ont he counter and told her to do it herself....she is now in her room with the door shut and I told her dad that he has to take her to her friend's house.....uggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....so I guess I will not be getting any Senior prom pics of her

Oh, that's too bad. I hope you get some pictures. Teenagers are so moody.

I'm surprised she didn't do a "practice" hair before today with you, so you'd know what she wanted done.

I would be heartbroken to not have any pics.

luckily I contacted her mom's friend and step mom and they are both going to take pictures and send them to my email And Sam did take her digital camera so I am sure she will take lots of pics with her friends tonight.....her dad took her to her friend's house for dinner and I guess her friend or friend's mom are gonna do her hair.....and Yea Jamie she had no interest in letting me have a trial run...damn kids are spoiled now days with their cell phones, laptops and TV's...I told her she needed to get addresses for her graduation announcements, has she done that????NOOOOOOO.....

Hm, I wonder if we all were as bad as teenagers, too. Most likely yes. Sorry you had to go through all the drama on that big day.

So sorry she was being difficult! I sometimes think teens are the worst to their parents because they know you will still love them. I hope the they share the pics soon!

I know this is true because my daughter has admitted this to me more then once. Since she moved out after graduating though we go seem to get along better.

If I ever have teenage kids, I plan to have this ready as a sign to hold up often:

Sorry it was a difficult night! I feel your pain, my son is 14. "I forgot. I don't know." That plus the flippant 'tude are the worst. I was horrible and I pray my 4 year old is nothing like I was at that age! My Mom and I didn't get along at all at that age and didn't until I was married and moved out. Hugs-it will pass.

Hugs Angie! I know it's tough. Just remember...this too shall pass. I think that no matter how good kids are, being a senior is tough. I honestly didn't believe my youngest would go through it because he gave no signs of it at all until his senior year. I'm just glad those days are over! (just consider this practice for the others!)
