What does 'a little spritz' mean to you?

I told Jake (he's 12, mind you) to give the light switch plates a "little spritz" of Lysol this morning. A few minutes later I hear him say, "Uh... Val? I don't think I did it right." I go in there and the plate is DRIPPING with Lysol and the wall is covered. Seriously? A little logic please?

Hmm... I never thought about this before, but that's probably why my Mom always insisted we spray cleaner on a clean cloth/paper towel first and then use that to clean with.

Hope you didn't have too hard a time cleaning up the cleaner!

Well, the wall appears to be beyond hope. Next time we're going with the wipes for sure!
