I am thankful for time spent with family... for my sleeping little boy and the smiles that twitch across his snoozing face, for my adorable dog who I haven't been saying "yes" to enough lately, for my grandmother, who seldom visits but when she does, it's so much fun, for my brother, who I can't wait to see every day when we start homeschooling, for my mom, who is my rock, my strength, and the reason that I'm sane, for my dad, who works so hard to provide for our family, and to my amazing brothers and sisters around the world, who have changed my life in the most extraordinary and profound ways.

Not only did my 2 girls have awesome dental checkups (dentist raved about how clean their teeth were) but the office was able to squeeze my son in (who came home with a slightly wiggly ADULT tooth) and the tissue is bruised but will firm back up - he is no danger of losing his tooth. Happy Happy Joy Joy!!
Just bought dd6 jeans, sweatshirts and tees from Justice at 40% off and paid for with a gift card from her great-grandma! (shopping with someone else's money: priceless  )Finally I am very thankful for this sweet forum. I read a lot more than I post but I just love the warm, supportive, drama-free atmosphere.

I am thankful for karma, who works in such mysterious and delicious ways, and manages to keep my revenge meter in check!!! I know I dont have to retaliate when people are nasty to me, karma is a bigger biarch than me

Today I am grateful for Pinterest. Does that seem silly? Well, I get SO much inspiration from Pinterest ... I find all sorts of new recipes that I can make and share with my family. I find all kinds of baked goods which are just delicious and fun and a great outlet for me! Whoever came up with that website is pure genius in my eyes, and thank you!

Today, I am thankful for ponytails... because the wind is supposed to blow 40-50 mph today. Why go through the work of blow drying and straightening my ridiculously long hair when I can just throw it up?

This morning my son got to shoot off rockets in his before school science club
.I am thankful for wonderful schools for my children and for parents who are willing to volunteer their time so that my son can participate in science club, chess club, and robotics.

Today I am thankful for my education. It makes it so much easier to get a job and with some friends struggling at the moment who didn't finish their education to get a job I am thankful for it so much. x

today I am thankful for a loving and understanding mother-in-law who lets me call her and cry while she just listens and offeres moral support but also realizes that her son is NOT perfect and doesn't think less of me when I complain about something he has or hasn't done.

Today I'm thankful for the sun shining in my windows and brighten up my whole day! Often at this time of the year the skies are constantly cloudy and dark and gloomy, but not today it's pale blue and dotted with fluffy white clouds and that makes me smile and makes my day just a little bit better and I am so thankful for that!!!

Today I am thankful for my parents who are the best grandparents to my little munchkin...They take him to school and pick him up everyday and they always attend his school events when I'm not able to (even when I am able to they still attend)...like to day when he was honored as Student of the Month...I'm thankful that he always has someone cheering him on even when I can't be there...

Today I am thankful for Oprah's Life Class. I listened to an episode that I had on the DVR. I'm also thankful for the DVR. It is nice to be able to program for a show and then let the DVR figure out when to record it all season. And I'm also thankful that the DVR lets me view the tv schedule for a week. It really comes in handy.

Today I'm thankful to live in a county with great libraries. I have a (virtual) pile of audiobooks and ebooks to keep me busy for the next few weeks and plenty of new books for the kids. I could never afford my reading habit if I had to buy everything I wanted to read.
