How do you shadow when you have multiple layers on top of each other? The Shadows on the top have more of a distance right? Now I've just plain confused myself. LOL!!!!

Not necessarily. Say you have your BG and then a piece of paper, and in between there's a flower. The top paper would cast a farther shadow on the BG, but a close one on the flower. So it'd really have 2 shadows. Or at least that's how I would do it.

Don't forget that I haven't scrapped an actual digital layout in approximately 8940328902 years, lol. (Although I plan to fix that today.) So take my words with a few grains of salt.
