Default printing black/white photos?

I printed out some photos at home in b&w and they turned out with a very defenite blue tint. I have printed color photos and they looked ok and printed scrapbooking stuff and it looked ok too. (I do not have the BEST printer...but it is decent. I think I paid about 70 dollars for it) It is a Canon Pixma 250. The ink all showed about half full and I printed on matte photo paper on high quality. Everything else I have printed showed up pretty close to what I see on the screen color. So I do not think it is my monitor. So what could be causing the bluish tinting? Could it just be the paper I printed on? Ill upload the print to see if you see a bluish cast on your computer that maybe I am not seeing

I'll do a test print this afternoon on my grandmother's printer which is the same as yours and let you know if you would like - I've got the 280 so not quite the same

You might need to switch your printer settings to BW print, because even though the pics have no color in them your printer could still be using all ink colors.

They don't look blue to me at all. I have a Kodak C315 and the last time I printed black and white photos they looked greenish to me even though on my monitor they didn't.
