My dream would be to live in Ireland. Not all the time, but half the year would be fantastic.

A more realistic dream is to move South: Tennessee, Virginia, the Carolinas, Georgia.

Realistically, I am happy here in Fargo or even Minneapolis. If I was dreaming of some warmer weather in the winter, I would love to live down in the Nashville area. Ideally, I would love to live somewhere new all around the world every year or two.

The Boston area. In '97 DH and I graduated from college/grad school and left Boston for what was supposed to be 3 years in DC, planning to go back to Boston afterward. But since DH works for the government in a job that he needs to be in DC for, we'll be in the DC area for his entire career. My family is in Connecticut and New York, and I'd love to be closer. Not too close, though , so I still think Massachusetts would be perfect.

I really don't know. I feel like I would need to experience more areas to really be able to answer that question. I love the Seattle area, but I like places like Hawaii too ... and then there are a million and one other place I haven't been. Climate and environment aside, the tough thing is maintaining proximity to family, etc ...

I'd love to live in San Francisco No humidity, even if the wind chill may kill me

Otherwise, some place with gorgeous scenery like Ireland

My dream: England or Ireland. But I always also have envied snowbirds who spend part of the year in Canada and part of the year in Arizona. Tubac, AZ, with its artist colony would be quite lovely, I think.

The Big Island of Hawaii. We were there for our honeymoon. I almost cried when we had to get on the plane and come home. I still joke and say it's my "soul place."

Realistically I probably wouldn't want to move away from extended family. I was pretty homesick when I went away to college. And I know I would miss snow.

But I have been dreaming of living on a beach. I've been watching too many shows about people buying vacation properties in exotic places. I just said the other day that I have to quit watching these shows because I'm dreaming of waking up on beachfront property and that is so not a reality. Plus, I don't like heat so moving to a tropical location probably wouldn't work anyway. (We won't discuss how I have no clue how I would pay for such luxury. )

I was born and raised here in Maine and while I like living here right now, I really dislike winter more and more as I get older

I've visited and lived in many parts of the US and the world for that matter. While many of them were wonderful, my most favorite place was San Diego and I am seriously thinking of moving back there once Cheyanne is graduated and out on her own - she's welcome to move there too, just not to live with me

When ever we go on vacation I find myself wanting to move to that place. It is kind of funny really because it always happens.

Realistically, If we could live anywhere (without a huge cost of living or job worry) I would either choose to move back home to Arizona or to move to Pennsylvania. We have family in both places. My kids have cousins their age in PA so that would be nice.

I love South Dakota, the Keystone and Rapid City area. I love, love, loved Louisville. Nashville was pretty awesome too but we didn't get to explore the city as much as I would have liked.

I don't have a dream place to live. My dream is to travel and have condos in different parts of the world where I can spend a few weeks or months just discovering the area. I would have to have a condo in Florida, cause I love Disney and would want to go there at least three times a year, one in Paris cause I could use it as a base to see a good deal of Europe, one in Hawaii, one in Sydney, one in Pennsylvania cause it is home, one in Osaka, Japan, one in.... Well you get the idea. lol

We live in Minnesota solely because our families are here and with four kids, we need all the support we can get. Before we had kids, we lived in Boise, Idaho and loved the small city feel, the proximity to the mountains and the milder winters. We'd love to move back but I'm not sure it'll be possible anytime soon.
