Default Hair HELP!!!

I'm so frustrated with my hair! It's very thin and takes a lot of work to get it to look decent. It used to be curly, but now it's somewhere between wavy & straight, but not something I can just let air dry and be ok with it. It grows VERY slowly!! I've been trying to grow it out some, but I'm getting to the point where I'm ready to just cut it again. The front breaks off so easily that I can't grow my "bangs" out. I've just never had this much trouble with my hair and I can't figure out what to do to make it better.

Here's a pic of me with it short...this is after blow-drying it and using a flat iron. It looks a lot thicker than it really is..

Right now, it's about mid-way between my chin and shoulders...and that's after at least 6 months of not cutting it.

I have an appt with my hairdresser on the 7th and I have no idea what to do. Any thoughts/suggestions?

I looked it up for you... it looks like most websites suggest you keep your ends blunt. Don't let your hairdresser use thinning shears (razor) or do lots of layers because that will actually make your hair look thinner. They also say bangs will make your hair look thicker.

Here's an example of a few hair cuts:

I wonder if you need a biotin supplement?

All those examples are super cute! But I agree with Valerie maybe you are lacking some vitamin or something that is causing you the major hair issue. I know that I have a low thyroid and when I am not taking my meds for it my hair actually just falls out so it's possible it's something like that.
