Where's you're favorite place to get them? I've bought from Lands End a bunch of times in the past, and I've always been happy. But, I thought I'd ask and maybe broaden my horizons. I'm in desperate need of new footwear for the summer.

have you tried Keens? That's basically what we live in during the summer (I also wear flip flops). I have these in blue: http://www.keenfootwear.com/us/en/pr...ice%20h2/black
(and actually - Blake wears a pair of Keens year round - we've found that their sneakers hold up really well - considering he breaks down shoes extremely fast!)

I always get mine from the "Walking Shoe Store" in the mall. They carry some fantastic European brand sandals. A little spendy, but thats the ONLY thing I wear all summer!

We have a shoe store called DSW that carries good brands at a big discount. I usually go there and try a lot of things on, since even within a brand different styles fit me differently. But I've also had a few cute, comfy pairs that were made by Crocs. (Not the typical Crocs sandals; they make a lot of styles.) They're not that expensive, but if you wear them every day you may only get 1 summer out of them.

Honestly for many years now I've been wearing Earth Shoes sandals from Walmart... I love the look of them and they are sooo comfy and they are cheap! I can afford to get a few different styles for a summer and not feel guilty about it
![]() Here are the ones I picked up the other day as my first pair of this season. |

Wear YellowBox (I love that they are cutesie) and Nike ones all summer long. Gotta let the feet breathe. My kids just wear Old Navy cheapies. Those kill my feet. I have yet to find comfy ballet flats.

I like Yellow Box flip flops for errands around town. They are super cute and comfy. I bought a pair of Reefs for Disneyland and they are very comfy-not as cute as the Yellow Box though.

I'm not much of a strappy-sandal person, I much prefer a simple comfy pair of Reef's or Ocean Minded flip-flops. I usually go to the local surf shop to buy them. I have a pair of essential cushy Reefs that I've had since college and they're still in wearable shape (although, I prefer to wear my newer ones). As for ballet flats... other than my TOMS I don't spend much $$ on those because I like to have lots of different ones to match what I'm wearing.
Thought I should add that every year I get Ben a new pair of Teva sandals, I like their stuff too. I buy them at Nordstrom. Last edited by YepBrook; 03-15-2013 at 04:48 PM. |

Well, I'm all for not spending too much money. Lol. Where do you get your ballet flats, Brook?

I usually get my cutesy summer shoes at Target...If I want a better shoe for outdoor activities and stuff I have a pair of Tevas and I'm eyeing some Keens but I'm happy with the Teva so far and they are slightly cheaper.

Some of my best & cheapest sandals & ballet flats have come from Target. I LOVE TARGET. I've also gotten a few pairs from American Eagle that I love. And RocketDog has super cute ones that I get from DSW. I have bought cute ones from Old Navy but they don't hold up.
