Default hmmm... so how late can the Easter Bunny come?

I got knocked down with the flu today... fun times! The "Easter Bunny" still hasn't gotten her act together to get eggs hid or the basket of goodies... yeah... bad Easter Bunny!! So, going to have to figure out how I'm going to accomplish that tomorrow with Mr. Nosey walking around the house looking for eggs that are not there yet... *sigh* Do you think he would believe that the Easter Bunny got caught in traffic and won't be here until Monday???

You know, with kids, any eggs are good eggs. Hide a few around the lounge/dining room area and let him go for it. Kids don't care if it's a flash hunt, or a simple one - they're excited just to have one.

I say... Skip it. *gasp* Do his basket Monday and think of some other special Easter activity you can do that won't kill you.

Maybe you could have Dad could take him out for a Daddy Date, we call it "Man Morning", even if it's just an hour or so out to the backyard or garage.

It could give the "Easter Bunny" time to hop through and quickly toss a few eggs around the house and assemble a note letting him know that there was a mishap with his basket and he'd be sure to return first thing Monday morning? !

Hope you feel better.

we are having easter on monday we are traveling today, so i just told my girls that i made arrangements with the EB for us to do it when we are at home.

one time my MIL forgot about easter and she sent her two boys (one being my DH) outside in the yard to look for eggs/candy) - and then she just started throwing candy out of the kitchen window at them ... that was the year they learned the truth about the easter bunny LOL!

since i couldn't sleep last night, I managed to hide a few eggs... he found them in no time... emptied them and now he wants to play easter bunny... so he filled all the eggs again, re-hid them and is hopping around the room looking for them...

Being sick or tired makes it hard when you have the Easter bunny/Santa/Tooth Fairy duty....and then you always get that guilt feeling like did I do enough or will they be upset if....too much pressure sometimes lol! My girls are 16 and 12 and now they like to take turns being Santa or Easter Bunny in hopes of surprising the other. They go shopping with me and pick out gifts for the other and of course ones for them and then practice their "surprise" look for when the actual day is. It actually is kind of fun for me because it is very interesting the things they pick out. Hope you feel better@

Last year, we accidentally forgot to get the bunny stuff out before we went to bed. lol. My baby sister woke up and was all upset that she didn't get any goodies. We quickly wrote a note (well, my husband did) saying that the bunny was scared of coming in our house because of the dogs and left it on the front porch. She totally bought it.
