I'm about to order blinds for my new house. On the back, I am getting honeycomb blinds. I like that they have a slim profile and hope to keep them up most of the time. I'm having trouble deciding if I should get the ones with a cord or without. Anyone have an opinion??

We have one set that is up almost 100% of the time and went cordless. It seems to work just fine. I think my MIL's cordless are working well for her as well - she raises and lowers each day. Hope this helps.

We have some cordless ones too. We pull them up and down quite a bit to block the bright morning California sun. We've had then about a year. LOVE LOVE LOVE them. Those cords are nasty. Initially we bought wooden blinds for the house, but they were a pain in the neck. Heavy and fat, blocked about 1 foot of the window!

if I had the choice, I'd changed all our blinds to cordless... I have the windows opened a lot and it would be nice not to have that cord blowing around and banging into the window frame.

I have cordless but I also bought them all when I had a little kids. It's been three years and they are holding up great. Even the ones in my kids rooms that got yanked on a lot when they were in the terrible twos. lol.

I don't do cords after my daughter almost strangled herself at a bookstore on corded blinds.

I bought cordless. It looks cleaner and I always have trouble getting the corded ones up and down properly.
