Favorite place to buy business casual clothes
That won?t cost an arm and a leg?
I?m always looking for somewhere to find work clothes at a decent price, I burn through them so fast, because I?m often doing dishes or preparing food tastings, so I tend to stain things easily. I try to get a lot of branded logo where for when we are actually out in the community doing classes, but when I?m not, I like to wear something else. I?m also always looking for good pants, not traditional dress slacks, I like to have good pockets and I won?t want to show god and everyone things they don?t want to see when I bend over. I literally just tried and returned 9 pair from Amazon. I like the golf pants style, but find the right material has been another whole thing. I found one pair last year I love (plus I?m short, 5?2) but they don?t make that brand anymore. I?m looking for more windbreaker less biker shorts. Lol! So, who has suggestions? I loved when we were working remotely, black leggings, tank top, sports bra and I?d throw on a nice sweater if we had a zoom meeting. |

Try stitch fix online, Nordstrom rack, Macy's. I'll think of more I am just stuck at the moment
Stitch fix may or may not be your thing but Nordstrom rack (Nordstroms clearance) and Macy's have different brands. Look at sales there. Oh Zulilly is a fun online place but the return policy on some items can be hinky

One more thing because I have a 20 year old daughter that is 5ft and 90lbs soaking wet. You might look into buying items that may be a little bit too long and just having them altered. If I remember it right it really wasn't all that much of an investment and she ended up opening her options

Ann Taylor (need to shop the sales), Ann Taylor Loft, Old Navy, Banana Republic are my go-to places. I love doing Stitch Fix from time to time but it's not cheap. I've received some really nice quality, good fitting pants from them (I'm also short-5'1"). They got me hooked on Liverpool brand pants. They come in petite sizes, are good quality and always fit me perfectly. I believe you can purchase on Amazon as well.

I second the sister companies Loft and Ann Taylor. Loft is the more casual of the two, but they both have great business casual collections. They also have 40% - 50% off sales quite a bit, so definitely don't pay full-price for anything.

My College Junior daughter is starting to think of needing dress clothes for her career once she graduates (blazers, skirts, dress pants, etc). I told her we are going to start by going to Goodwill and seeing if we can find some base pieces that we can add to.
These are all good ideas though, and I will pass them along to her also! Thanks Vanessa for asking.

I was going to suggest thrifting as well. Sometimes older clothes have better quality than new things. Good luck!
