iNSD 2025: Spin-A-Lift Chain Challenge

Happy 2025 interNational Scrapbooking Day Weekend! I hope your forecast is filled with beautiful digiscrap supplies, sales shopping & free-with-purchase goodies, and most of all, more scrapbook layouts for your family's albums! I'm here to help with that last one ... it's time to kick-start your creativity with a wildly fun scrapbooking challenge we call...

The Spin-A-Lift Chain Challenge

Here's how it works: to reserve your spot for this game, hit "reply" on this post and say something like:

This is my spot for the Spin-A-Lift Chain Challenge!
I'm going to spin-and-scraplift a layout by (USERNAME OF PERSON WHO REPLIED BEFORE YOU).

Now, you're going to scraplift a layout by at the person who replied in this thread just before you. So if your post is reply #4, you'll scraplift from whoever posted reply #3. To look at their gallery, find their post, and look on the right hand side across from their username and photograph - there are three pink buttons - click the middle button labeled gallery.

Look through their gallery until you find a layout that inspires you to scrapbook. Make sure you save the link to their layout - you'll need it when you post your version.

Now you're going to spin their layout by rotating it (90, 180, or 270 degrees), flipping it (vertically or horizontally), or by doing a combination of rotating and flipping.

Then launch your preferred digiscrap software and create a layout based on the spin!

When you're done, post your layout in the Gallery and come back here to this thread. Find your reply and edit it (look for the pink edit button in the lower right corner of your post) and add:

• the image of the layout you scraplifted
• along with a link to that original layout
• the image of your completed layout
• and a link to your layout in the gallery

That's all there is to it!
