Unhappy Need to print....urgggg

So last night I thought I would go back to the previous months worth of LO that I haven't printed yet...and OMGoodness....I am NOT allowed to scrap anything else until I print the 80 LO I have done since April......crap! And the worst part is, I scrap in 12x12 but print in 8x10, so every LO I remake to fit that size....man, That is going to take forever!

wow, that's alot of printing to do! Why don't you just originally scrap them at 8x10? It would save a lot of work! Or resize them to 8x8's and print them that way, it would be cheaper too! GL!

LOL, for some strange reason I can't scrap in 8x10...I have tried but things don't fit right! I would print in 8x8, but things always look so small when I resize to that....maybe after I print these I will buy 8x8 books and do that anyways...way to much work!!!

I try to print every two months so I'm not overwhelmed by it. Plus, I keep my psd's on my com[uter until I print and 80 of those suckers take up a lot of space!

I also scrap 12x12 and print 8x8. What I found with scrapbooking pictures is that I don't need to resize. The proportion is the same so they print fine!

That's the best news ever! I REALLY need to get all 85 of mine uploaded and printed, and I wasn't looking forward to resizing them all, lol.

I let three months past without printing so I had to print a lot of LOs too. I'm finally almost caught up, just a few LOs left from May. From now on I will print every month to avoid all the trouble. I scrap 12x12 and print at home my 8x8 LOs. Here are pics of some of my printed LOs:click here. (Yeah I have nothing better to do but take pictures of LOs...hahaha)

I also scrap in 12x12 and print in 8x8. I do absolutely nothing to my LOs, just upload and submit for printing. Easy peasy, and they turn out beautifully!

I'm thinking the same. I bought 2 8x8's from Target after christmas.
Do you have to resize 12x12's down to 8x8's for them?

good question . . . i don't know

I used Wendyzine's Shutterfly actions. So I guess I did resize . . . But I don't see why one couldn't just drop in a 12x12 page.

Nope. I just ordered an 8x8 book for my aunt and I uploaded 12x12 layouts since she used QP's. It all looked fine.

where do you all get your pages printed from? I have a ton of pages and haven't printed a single thing. I'm kind of wondering what's the point if I'm the only one that sees the pages (other then what I upload here).

There are numerouse online printers like Shutterfly and Scrapbook Pictures that I've heard lots of good things about... I haven't used one yet but will eventually. I got 9 pages printed at Superstore (a huge grocery chain here in Canada), at their photo lab. They turned out awesome!

And as to WHY to get them printed? Because they look so danged awesome in an album thats why! LOL! I have like 200 layouts in my folder and never planned to print... I was actually planning on printing the pics & paper scrapping them, having digitals "just for fun". I know - totally stupid. Then I realized that I would never have enough time to do that, so I decided to print my pages & put them in my album... LOVE IT! I love flipping through my album now (even though its only 9 pages so far). It makes me feel like they are finished, y'know? Like before they were *done* but now they are REALLY *done* cause I can hold them in my hand. Not sure if that makes sense, lol!

I just recently printed a bunch of mine out on my $25.00 Lexmark printer (not the best quality printing but it will do...) and with some double stick tape I created wall art!!!!!

Don't mind the Bumble Bee keychain hanging from my ceiling fan....I *heart* Transformers
