Can someone explain the points?

I keep checking out all the great challenges on this forum and I keep hearing about points to save money in the shoppe. That's a big incentive and makes me want to participate more.

Can someone break it down for me how it all works? Can we use products from other stores or just from this one? How many points to get how much discount, etc?

I looked all over assuming this would be explained somewhere and came up empty!

Hey Laura It's all in the FAQ HERE but I'll give you a general rundown

Challenges go up on the 1st, 10th, and 20th of each month. You have all month however to do them for points unless otherwise noted (ex: color ch is only for 1 week)

You earn 1 point for each challenge completed. If you use a new release from the Sat before you can earn a bonus point except on the photo LO, card ch, and color since it's just an extra point to begin with. The hybrid workshop is worth 3 points.

On the first or thereafter you will receive a PM with a coupon code valid for 1 specific week. It's a one time use code but no limit on what you buy with the exception of custom font, premiere font, chipboard (but sometimes there is a chipboard coupon too-like this month), blog in a box/blog services, and inspired by templates...

Here is the point breakdown needed for a coupon
* 10-19 Points = 20%
* 20-29 Points = 30%
* 30+ Points = 40%

Well, Meg just totally explained everything, but I just wanted to say that SR points are the best! Even if we didn't earn points, the challenges are sooo much fun and really get me to think outside my scrapping box.
