Well I had the dreaded GTT test...
today (3 hr glucose tolerance test)...thank goodness it is over and now I'm just waiting for the nurse to call...or rather hopefully not to call...with the results. She said if I didn't hear from them by the end of the day that it meant the results were fine. Cross your fingers with me lol.
I'm really feeling like we're just counting down now...since Avery was 5 weeks premature, I start going every 2 weeks now and he'll start "checking me out" to see if anything is happening lol. He said today that the next visit we could schedule the birth date!! He said he would induce me a week early so that we can get Brian here for the birth. Yay! Now I just need "keep the baby in until 39 weeks vibes lol" b/c if I go early then he won't be able to get here in time probably...we'll have to go through the red cross and so he'd probably miss the actual birth which the thought of sends me into a red panic so I try not to think of that lol anyway..just rambling..now I'm off to use my sweet rewards! yay!

I failed my one hour test, and then took the 3 hour test and failed that one too, but just barely. I had to test my blood sugars 4 times a day for the last several weeks of my pregnancy. That was fun!
 Let me tell you though, what a huge motivator that was. I didn't gain any weight during the last 10-12 weeks of my pregnancy. I had a little extra fluff starting out so it was okay. The GD went away right after my baby was born, thankfully.Good luck with yours!

Same thing for me as Rochelle... I actually only gained 7lbs by the end of the pregnancy because of my GD...
it went away right after I gave birth though. (Though they did keep poking Phin and testing him 48 hours after he was born, that was annoying) Let me know if you have any questions, since I just went through it.

No call! Yay! I'll probably call in the morning just to make sure it didn't get overlooked but she said that they'd have the results before the end of the day and that if it was bad she would call...so yay!

that's awesome! I always fail my 1 hour too... the 3 hour stinks! My gf has 9 kids and has failed her 1 hour 8x, passed the 3 hr all 8x too...so I kinda wonder about that 1 hr....I sooo lucked out this time and got a girl who got my blood all 4x the first try....I've got horrid veins!
So glad you didn't get a call....

Woot! Here's to no news!!! I hope they tell you everything's fine when you call in the morning. If it were me, I'd probably be calling just to double check also.
I hope everything works out for scheduling so your dh can be there for the birth!!!
