Saving full size jpgs at 10 instead of 12 is perfectly fine, right?
12 is overkill, right? I was saving at 12 but am thinking the huge files and upload times are not worth it . . . right?

I save my papers at 7 and they are just fine. Bigger isn't always THAT much better than average.

I didn't even think of that affecting my file size (total DUH moment!). I'm totally switching to 10 now. My upload times were horrendous! LOL!

Wow, I have always saved at 12. Does saving at 10 really conserve that much space?

I always save at 10 too ... there is such a huge difference in file size between 10 and 12 and I don't see any quality difference (to my naked eye). If you were going to blow your LO to a poster, you might want 12, but for standard 12x12 or smaller, 10 should be just fine. I tried to email a regular photo I saved at 12 once and the file size was too big and it would send, lol.

i have noticed a big difference in file size. in the jpg saving option you can preview the file sizes for the diff levels. it might take a few moments for the new file size to appear.

I upload to Shuttferfly and SmugMug and it's faster with smaller files.
