I want to get some good photos of my cats but I always end up with eyes glowing and vampire kitties LOL. Ill post some examples. While I can fix the eye-glow it doesnt look as good as if it was not there to begin with. Anyone have any good tips for photographing cats? Oh also two of my kitties have the most awesome blue eyes but I cant seem to get that to really show up on film. So any tips on that would be great too. THANKS!!!

Here is one I took last night. Her eyes were glowing big time in this. She has such beautiful colors in her fur too. Just wondering how to get those really awesome shots and how to actually get them to stay still long enough to let me LOL

What kind of camera do you have?
I shot this one ![]() I just try not to shoot straight on, have the red eye feature turned on and flash off.

I have the Canon Powershot S5IS. It has alot of the same features as an SLR though. I have basically no natural light in the house as my husband likes hte house to be really dark. My cat looks kinda like yours with very similar eyes and her eyes when the flash hits them glow red.
