ok, I am trying to remember how to recolor an element (I need three different colors of a bow, and there are only two in the kit I am using, and no, I don't want to use another element. lol)
How do I recolor again? hehe The Hue/Saturation slider isn't quite giving me the shade I want. I remember someone (can't remember who) showing how to do it with the Replace Color option, but I can't remember!! Help? lol

I don't know what program you are using. But I am using an old version of photoshop and this is how I do it.
Desaturate the bow create a new empty layer above it. CTRL+Click on the bow layer in the layer palette Make sure the blank layer is still toggled Fill the selection with the color you want from the paint bucket And then change the layer blend mode to "color" Merge the two layers. I know it's probably simpler in PSCS and PSE, but I do not know about PSP or GIMP. HTH! -Diana

yeah You can do it Diana's way...
or go to Image-Adjustments-Replace color-choose the color you want replaced, then on the bottom use the slider or color picker to choose a color you want then play with it.
