Default Chuck E Cheese

tomorrow night is our fundraising night for chloe's school at Chuck E Cheese. i have never been there. the web site does not list prices. i think we get a 15% discount, but still i'd like to know the general cost of the pizzas and tokens. i don't want to go and then be completely shocked at the price, lol. i know its probably not cheap, especially the stupid tokens. and we've got 3 kids! i think they get 10 free to start however. can anyone who's gone give men an idea of the costs? i'd appreciate it!

yikes- I can't remember, but even with their "combos" it's pretty pricey.....can't remember. We are doing it this weekend for DS b-day

Hmm, I found these coupons for cheaper stuff

http://email.chuckecheese.com/static...upon_lunch.htm

might be better than what you have.

Corey - it's expensive and not that great LOLOLOL

I can't remember pizza prices, but pizza's do come with tokens (which are 4/1.00 in the machine). You can also print off coupons for tokens, or get them in the paper - some of those slick coupon ads you get in the newspaper on Tues/Wednesday.

We went once and quickly decided that IF we go again, we will not buy food - it's expensive and not very good. If we go again with the kids we'll just play the games - they didn't want to sit and eat the food anyway! LOL!

Yeah, the food is pretty crappy, imo. The kids don't wanna sit and eat half the time anyways.

As for the tokens, its 1 token per ride/game so you can make them last for a little while. But the nice thing is, once their tokens are gone, there is still stuff for them to do for free. At least, there is at ours. There is a big tube-climb-thing (think McDonald's PlayPlace) and the stage has the characters and they can dance and run around. And ours has a "fenced-in" area for really little kids (toddler-age) with a slide and ball-pit and some baby rides.

Its not cheap, but it'll keep them entertained for the night.

we usually get one of their deals which includes a pizza, certain number of drinks and some tokens. It seems like it's usually about $30.

Coupons like this help!

Yah the pizza sucks. They do, however, sell beer! LOL

Ours has the play thing w/ the slides and that's free. I tend to play skeeball most of the night and then have to climb to the top of the slide thing because Abby goes up there and then gets scared.

Do they sell anything better than beer? That's a dang good idea...get the adults drinking so they can handle the place...

Can you tell I don't like it? At all...hahaha...

They are actually pretty reasonable. And the tokens are .25, every game is only one token. We get out pretty cheap where tokens are concerned so we like to go. Well, like being a relative term of course. It will be a. mad. house.!! We never go on fundraising night.

Oh yes, we have beer, too. LOL! I agree, crummy food. Games are fun and you can make the kids go slow so the tokens last longer. We've only been twice since having kids, but I can't stand it. I'm such a party pooper.

I don't think ours sells beer either! We've had several of the girls parties there (which can get expensive!) and we've just taken them there to eat & play a few times too. We usually use the coupons they have in the Sunday paper coupon inserts or print coupons from their web site before we go. We usually do the 1 pizza, 4 soft drinks and tokens for $20-25 and then I order something else for myself. Their pizza isn't that great but they also have sandwiches which are not bad & they have a salad bar and some other stuff. Be prepared for it to be a crazy mad house there though if it's a school sponsored night!
