Hi guys.
I'm having a not so good day today. I just met with my endocrinologist for my Hashimoto's disease and he's not pleased with my weight. I'm not happy about it either. He's ordered me to a very strict diet. Last year I did MF and was very successful however after visiting my general practitioner for strep he made me feel like I was doing the worst thing ever. I talked to my endo today and he feels that MF is a great diet and totally supports me. Why am I bringing this up? I'd love a support buddy. The first weeks are the hardest. I have about $200 worth of food in my pantry. I NEED to get back "On Plan" I lost about 20lbs last year with it, but I get lazy and start falling into my old habits. I would LOVE to be MF buddiies

I can't help with the Medifast part, but I'm sure there are lots of us here who'll be very supportive of you and goals in general!!

Samara - I have Hashimoto's disease too... newly diagnosed. The thyroxine I'm on was great for the first two months but now all the symptoms are coming back again like mad but I can't get in to see my endo until Feb. It can be so frustrating. I just wanted you to know someone else has this thing too.
I hope you are successful with loosing some weight and that it helps you feel like 'you' again! |

Samara, Amber - when are y'all planning on starting up? Samara, you know I'll kvetch with ya!! Just give me a date, so I can, er, dispense ahead of time with the dark M&M's that mysteriously appeared after a Target visit... and then I'll be good to go. Need to get the rest of these pounds OFF!!

I'm 100% on plan today. I just finished my afternoon snack. I just took 2 Tylenol to take the edge off the headache I know will be coming. |

Excellent!! I'm doing ok -- staying the h.e. double hockey sticks away from the kitchen -- and drinking my water... but dear Lord, I need a nap!

How was today? I'm just about finished with day 2, 100% on plan! Today I'm having a little more trouble with my water, but I'm going to try to get the rest in before bed.

I did Medifast for 2 weeks once and I was about to eat one of the children. I wasn't HUNGRY and I felt great, but holy crap I wanted to chew. LOL

P.S. I still drink the chai and cappuccino as a snack most days even when I'm not on it. I'm hooked on that stuff.

Sorry, Ladies - sacked for two days by one hummer of a migraine - little bit shaky today, but good news! absolutely no appetite for anything!
