Default what do you scrap on?

I was thinking about this today and how I wish I had a laptop for scrapping so when I am trying to do a layout Im not stuck at my desk. So it kinda made me wonder what people are using to do their layouts whether they use a desktop or a laptop. Not really so much what brand I guess although you can add that too if you wanted LOL

I personally use a HP desktop but really really want an HP laptop!!

Well, personally I HATE scrapping on my laptop! Mainly b/c the screen is so much smaller than my desktop, so it's really weird to adjust to. If I have to scrap on the laptop, I will, but I definitely prefer not to!

I just use my desktop.

I have an older laptop that I can use, I have photoshop on it, but honestly I rather use my desktop. No body bothers me because there is a baby gate between me and the kids. LOL!

I scrap on an HP laptop, but it spends almost all of it's time in one place now, lol. But I do like being able to take it with me to scrap on weekend trips if I want.

I voted desktop BUT I just fell into possession of a laptop and I'm trying to get it up to scrapping capabilities (ie: scrap worthy instead of crap worthy)!!!

Edit to add my desktop is a Compaq and so is the laptop.....unless I can beg DH into giving me the NEW laptop and him using the old one...the new laptop is an Acer.

I have a PC with two monitors, that I used to love to scrap on. I could have ACDSee open in one monitor, PS in the other, and could drag and drop.

But then, last January, I flipped my van and messed up my shoulder and neck. For four/five months, I couldn't sit at the computer for extended periods, without it really hurting, and working at home, I needed to "save" my PC time for that. So I bought a laptop, so in the evenings, I could lie down and scrap, so I wouldn't be hunched over. It took forever to get used to, but that's what I do now.

I still really miss scrapping on my PC, but this is nice and relaxing too.

Laptop - but I keep it on my desk all the time so it might as well be a desktop lol. I just can't scrap unless I'm sitting up in a chair..I'm anal that way...but I also have my EHD and a regular mouse hooked up to it and it's just too much of a pain to move it all. But it is nice to be able to pack it all up and take it with me if I'm traveling or something...not that I've done a lot of that lately lol, but if I needed to I could

I mainly scrap on my desktop (24' iMac) but I also scrap on a laptop (MacBook Pro) when I don't want to hang out in the office... so the best choice for me is both.

I scrap and design on my laptop. Most of the time I am on the couch. I have a wireless usb hub so I can access my stash without cords.

I'm really disappointed in my Mac, it's only 2 years old and I can maybe do to moves in Photoshop before it crashes... or read 3 emails before it crashes... so, I really only use the Mac to surf the web and use my husbands Win Laptop to scrap. My ideal would be to have a laptop with a docking station and a HUGE monitor... then I can scrap at my desk or on the move!!! Ahh... a girl can dream, right????

Acer laptop. It's my only computer, so I scrap on it. I love being able to sit/lay on the couch and scrap.

I have a laptop but unfortunately it's becoming harder and harder to scrap on it. I need to order some more RAM to see if that helps. It takes like 5 minutes just to open 1 paper these days and I have cleaned off my HD, run Spyware & Maleware programs, defragged etc. and it's STILL SLOW....

When I first got my laptop I hated scrapping on it, but now my poor desktop is lonely. I turn it on to transfer kits and stuff back and forth (because I'm an idiot and have no idea how to link the two), but that's about it.

I love that I can sit in the recliner and scrap while Jay and L.J. play at night.

that is why I want a laptop. I would love to be able to scrap and sit and watch tv with my husband.

These days I scrap on my IMac (it's the smaller of the two monitors offered, 20"?) The laptop has PSE6 on it but the Mac has CS3 and it's what I use these days to scrap.

I have a HP laptop with a 18.5 inch screen (it's huge...) and I mostly scrap with it and use it for work - I work from home. We have a wireless router with an external network hard drive. I love that i can scrap everywhere, on the couch, at the table or even at night, in bed.

Before, I used to scrap on DH's desktop. The good thing is that it has a 24 inch screen but, it,s old and it's needs to be updated real badly. Also, it had a tera hard drive that blew up and that we have to change.

I have a 17" HP Pavilion dv7-1130us Entertainment Notebook PC

It's heavy to carry around...but so worth it for the screen size! I scrap during the school day when the kids don't need me (but I'm portable to sit anywhere), in the van waiting for a child to get out of a class, at the bowling alley twice a week (yes I am the only homeschool mom scrapping at bowling league), whenever we drive to robotics (1 1/2 hours 3x/week from September to February), and any other time I can get my hands on it!

I love the portability! I'll be taking the laptop to Orlando...but alas...no scrapping at the park...it will be back at the hotel! Hopefully I will be able to do a few challenges while I am gone for 10 days but I'm not holding my breath. lol I'm sure I will be exhausted each day! Hoping to while away the time in the airport and on the airplane scrapping!

I have a laptop but it is rally a desktop. It has a mouse and an EHD and best of all it has a 23" flat screen monitor attached to it so I have 2 monitors. I can't scrap on the laptop monitor. It's too small. Having to use just my laptop monitor makes me sad

I loooove my pink Dell 17" laptop - which I really use as a desk top.

Technically I'm supposed to share it with my husband - but really its mine

I have both a desktop and a laptop. I prefer scrapping on my desktop because of the size of the screen (24 inches). My laptop is a tiny 12-inch thing that I only scrap on if I have a CT layout that needs to get done and I'm away from home.

I always thought I'd be a desktop girl, but I converted at the end of last year and haven't looked back. I love the mobility of having my laptop.

Laptop!
It sits on my kitchen counter when the kiddos are up and then after bedtime I move it to in front of our TV and watch shows or Netflix. Drives my DH nuts that I can't just do one thing! LOL! Maybe I'd be a faster scrapper if I did though! Right now I'm watching the Season 1 of Bones.

I do have a desktop too, but its mainly for backup. It has a really nice monitor and everything, but I just feel "chained" to it when I sit down. So usually I end up back on my laptop.
