I wasn't much impressed last night. I do know that girl with the red guitar grates on my last nerve so I hope she goes home..

I really liked the last girl...Katie...I love that song and thought she did great.

And the two curly haired girls did really well.

Everyone else - Meh...but hopefully it was just first night jitters...I always like watching the boys better anyway though

I only got to watch the first few....have to wait for DH to get home from work today to watch the rest (how did we ever survive before tivo?). I couldn't really tell how good any of them were since the sound seemed to be waaaay off. The clapping from the audience seemed to be louder than the singers and I could barely hear the music at all.

Without looking up names for spelling, I like Didi, Crystal, and Lilly best. I don't even remember the first girl (Paige?) from auditions at all. Katie sings great, but that song was way too serious/old for her. Same with Sioban or whatever her name is. I thought Haeley and Lacey sucked eggs for sure last night.

Oh, and 100% agree that Katelyn's "makeover" was pretty suckish, too. That lipstick looked horrible on her.

ooh I liked Lily too...but she looks WAY older than 20..I was so shocked when they put her age up..I thought she was more like 28 I guess it's the white hair lol but yeah..she was good.

Last night was the first time I'd watched all season, so I knew nothing about anyone going in. Just based on last night, my fave was Lilly. I did NOT like the girl who sang Landslide.

Are there any guys I need to be watching for as a fave tonight?

and that girl that did landslide made it all the way through in Hollywood last year except the top 24..she was the last one to find out she didn't make it. I agree..she was awful last night.

I'm not a fan of the girls at all, but then again, I always like the guys better. I'm excited for tonight. Can't wait to see Casey!

I liked Lacey all thru auditions but she was terrible last night!

Crystal was my fave last night...she def sings and has a more seasoned look than any of the other girls IMO...Didi was ok as I've liked her all thru Hollywood...Katie sounded ok but the song was way too old for her...that'sa bout all I liked..

So far I'm actually liking this seasons more than others. It just seems like they have more unique singers this time - it's not just one pop singer after another with a random rocker thrown in. Plus I only skipped through two performances which is WAY less than I normally do. I skipped through about half of Lacey's performance because I thought it was incredibly boring and almost all of Haeley's because I just could not take the screeching. The bad thing is Haeley has been picked up as this year's vote for the worst pick so she may be around for awhile.

I liked Crystal, Lilly and Didi the best. I'm excited to see what the guys do tonight.

Crystal and Lilly were my favorites. I think they had the best performances and vocals. I had higher hopes for Didi, but didn't care for her interpretation of the song she sang.

I'm probably the only girl NOT in the Casey camp. I think he's easy on the eyes and sounds pretty awesome, but he has had a lot of issues with drinking (DUI/DWIs). I'm worried he'll just turn his success into one big party...not the best role model for all the young people who love the show. Andrew Garcia seems to have some originality and talent.

Krystal, you're not alone. I don't see the appeal of Casey at all really. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. Andrew Garcia is also my favorite.

I was very underwhelmed by all of it last night. There were a few I liked, but nothing really great. Simon and his comments were the highlight, as usual.

Yeah, I went back to change my post after I realized that Krystal and I were talking about the same guy. I'm a little slow today. I like the 60s/70s rocker guy too! I hope he does well.

I'm always less impressed by the gals. Last night was no exception. Loved Crystal though I agree picking an Alanis song was a way easy safe choice for her.

I'm looking forward to seeing Andrew and Michael?? (the big yummy black guy) tonight. Casey is too pretty for me.

I have to admit I am excited to watch the guys tonight! I really like Andrew Garcia and it's my official guess that he's going to win the entire thing! lol!
